The omnibus kindle series of the Asterix series as a very good value and a great way to see the artistry from this old but not showing its age graphic comic series. The stories are funny and entertaining as a group of Gaul's, living in what now is France, hold out against Julius Caesar's troops with the help of a strengthening potion made by the village druid. The first 9 volumes of the stand alone series have been put into 3 omnibus volumes and I hope they put further omnibus volumes for kindle out. I have read these books since I was a kid and was thrilled to find them in kindle/digital format. So much easier for carting around with me. I took one star off for changing Getafix the Druid to Panoramix the Druid....so unnecessary! Otherwise, a nice way to read these stories.
